Powered by a 72 volt electric DC Series motor with 6kw continuous and 10kw peak power. It is controlled by a Zapi Controller wired for regenerative braking (batteries are recharged during braking and going downhill). A small solar panel fitted into the bootlid helps keeping the batteries charged up. An onboard charger makes charging from the mains as simple as charging ones cellphone. There are 6 GEL batteries, 2 in front and 4 between the rear wheels, so the car is well balanced.

There is space for a small overnight bag, about 2 cubic feet, and a spare wheel jack & tool with extra space over the rear wheel arches for extra storage.

The British 1950's Sports Car style tonneau cover can be left half on when not carrying a passenger. It protects the car's interior when parked in the rain.
