Adventure Ashore is a new tourist car-rental activity that offers visitors fun and adventure in the Mediterranean, by making available unique self-drive open top cars, not found anywhere else in the world, for sightseeing and excursions.

Adventure Ashore operates in Malta and Gibraltar, which are two of the smallest countries in the world.  Both countries are very ‘British’, are steeped in history and enjoy a terrific all year round southern Mediterranean climate.  Hot in summer, mild and sunny in winter.

Adventure Ashore operates a fleet of five types of Retro Fun Cars.  They are all convertable FIATs and are based on the Cinquecento 500 cult-car of the 1950’s. Many of our cars are branded with our corporate image which is a unique 'CANE WRAP' basket-weave finish. (Go to Fleet Cars page) They are only available for short term rental.  (Half Day – Full Day – Short Weekend or Long Weekend)

Adventure Ashore caters for any visitor to Malta & Gibraltar seeking the unusual, especially those seeking Fun and Adventure.  Primarily for Cruise Liner passengers visiting Malta & Gibraltar on very short visits who might wish to break away from the crowd and do their own thing, or have a tailor-made package specially created giving you the choice of what to do and where to go in a limited time available.

Adventure Ashore is the first operation of its kind in Malta to make available the new GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) Satellite Navigation System in their cars, which ensures that short term visitors to Malta get the maximum sightseeing benefit during their brief stay on the island. Easy to follow specially tailored routes will be installed. Garmin launch the GPS easy-to-use touch screen and full digital maps of the entire Maltese islands on the 28th of March 2007, and will be available to Adventure Ashore after that.
